i have an overwhelming fear of heights and it took everything i had to cross that thing. the wind wasn't too bad, so i guess it didn't move as much as it could have. i just watched my feet and kept walking for the most part. i did, however, stop near the middle, turn to face my fear and snap a pic. you can see that one here: [link]

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Having said that, and as someone who's as terrified of heights as you are (or maybe more so) I'd have freaked out completely if I had to cross that thing
Also, I shouldn't have clicked that link... after that other shot, i feel like I personally was there. I guess that makes it a great shot, but, man...breaking out in a fear-induced sweat early in the morning isn't nice....

i climb the sides of mountains without cables or safety equipment for the sole purpose of trying to get over my fear of heights. it's been years and years of doing things like that, and i still get that feeling in my stomach and head. it seems i'll never get over my fear, but it never stops me from doing what i want to do. i guess that when you can't conquer your fear, you just have to make friends with it.

Wow- you sure are doing a great job making friends with your fear of heights- I can't imagine doing anything similar.
Nah, I'm the type that keeps as much away from the sides of balconies as possible, and tries not to look up whenever above ground level.
Wild and adventurous, huh?
