Artist's Comments

i setup my pod, used the remote, took my time to set everything exactly like i wanted, pulled back on the polarizer a little, and i ended up with one of the most striking photo's i've ever taken. it looks metallic. the biggest shame is that i had to resize it down so far that you're only seeing it at 20% of it's original metrics. you're missing 80% of the detail - the feel of the building, the land, the movement of the wind... it's barely retained at this tiny size. when i tried to upload the full image, dev said that it doesn't accept images with a megapixel level that high.

I love this picture zero42. I like how dark and mysterious it is and definately how metalic it looks. Just looking at the picture really does hint to you what it must feel like standing right where the camera is and i really love how a photo can make you feel as you would feel if you were there.

Great shot.

Quite jealous of you now having seen a great photograph taken on a very nice (yet expensive) camera. Thank you for sharing that with us. :chew:

Really very beautiful. Rich colors and hauntingly overgrown subject.

isn't it? it's a little difficult to use a polarizer on such a bubbled lense, but i'm learning how to use it properly - to not make it too drastic of an effect and to draw out the best from what's there. thank you for commenting. i'm rather happy with this one.

It really is beautiful, I mean it.
I find it so emotionally stiring, the sky, the colours, composition, and balance are perfect. I mean, you really captured the essence of the place, even the essence of time as this is the time of year that is the swing time between winter and spring. Thanks for sharing :aww:
